Why event work is booked hourly, not point-to-point
The hard part of an event night is never the drive in — it is the twenty minutes after the encore or the final whistle, when tens of thousands of people request a ride at once and surge pricing arrives with them. On an as-directed reservation the same chauffeur and the same vehicle stay with you for the whole block, so leaving is a text message rather than an auction. Reservations run on a two-hour minimum and can be extended on the night if the evening runs long.
The pickup plan is agreed before you walk in
Large venues close or reroute their immediate frontage during load-out, and the designated rideshare lots are usually the slowest way out of the building. We confirm a specific meeting point with you at booking — a named cross street, hotel entrance or garage level a short walk from your gate — and the chauffeur stages there rather than joining the queue. You text when you start walking; the car is there when you arrive.

Season traffic is the constraint, not distance
From January through April the Palm Beach to Miami corridor and the approaches to Wellington behave differently from the rest of the year, and a show weekend can add an hour to a drive that maps as forty minutes. We build event pickups backwards from your curtain, kickoff or gate time using the season pattern for that venue rather than a live traffic estimate taken at the moment you book, and we would rather stage early than run you close.
Booking an event trip from out of state
Most of this work is booked by people who are not in Florida yet — visitors flying in for a race weekend or a show, assistants arranging a client evening, and families coordinating a gala or graduation. Give us the venue, the event and the start time and we set the reservation against that; an out-of-state mobile number and billing address are routine, and dispatch is staffed around the clock, so a change made in another time zone still reaches a person here. Airport arrivals and the event night can sit on one reservation.
Vehicles and groups
- Luxury sedan — two to three passengers
- Executive SUV — up to six passengers, the usual choice for event evenings
- Sprinter van — larger parties, corporate boxes and multi-couple groups
- Multi-vehicle groups run on one reservation with one point of contact
Pricing
As-directed hourly hire is quoted by vehicle class against the hours you reserve, with tolls and tax included and gratuity optional. Extending on the night is billed at the same hourly rate rather than a premium, and there is no event-night surge.
