PBI is now DJT — what changed for your pickup

Florida legislation signed on March 30, 2026 renamed Palm Beach International Airport to President Donald J. Trump International Airport, effective July 9, 2026. The FAA and ICAO identifiers changed to DJT and KDJT on that date, and the IATA code followed in August 2026. Nothing about the physical airport, the terminal layout or your ground transportation changed.

  • Same field, same terminals, same curbside and baggage-claim meeting points — only the name and identifier changed.
  • Book with either code. Our dispatch treats PBI and DJT as the same airport, and older itineraries printed with PBI are still valid.
  • Check your ticket: airlines and booking sites updated at different times, so a single trip can show PBI on one leg and DJT on another.

How a PBI airport pickup works

At the terminal. According to the airport's ground transportation page, ground transportation services are on Level 1, Baggage Claim, while Uber and Lyft pick up on the outer curb of Level 3, Departures. A booked car is not a rideshare, so don't head upstairs to the rideshare curb unless your chauffeur asks you to.

Our part. When you book, choose an inside meet-and-greet or a curbside pickup. For curbside, the chauffeur usually texts once you're ready, and the two of you settle the exact spot directly. Either way, the meeting details are confirmed with you before the day.

Delays and changes. Give the flight number rather than a landing time. The pickup follows the posted arrival, and the 30-minute grace period starts from that posted time, which matters when you still have bags to collect. If your flight number or date changes, call or update the reservation so the pickup moves with it.

Luggage and vehicle. Count checked bags, not just people. Two travelers with golf bags or a week of luggage may fit better in an SUV than a sedan; larger groups usually need a Sprinter. Mention car seats, golf clubs or oversized cases when you book.

To book: have the flight number, travel date, passenger and bag counts, and the full drop-off address ready, plus the return flight if you want both legs handled at once. You'll see the flat rate before you reserve.
