Written by Sara Akins, PBI Limos — South Florida Travel & Transportation Specialist · Local service guidance for Miami
Miami is a served market rather than our base, and that changes what we are useful for. The work we do here is mostly long-haul: MIA arrivals continuing north to Palm Beach, Palm Beach clients flying out of MIA because the nonstop only exists there, and cruise passengers moving between the Port of Miami and a Palm Beach hotel. Those are point-to-point flat rates, not hourly hire. If you need a vehicle held on standby for a Miami Beach evening or a Design District day, hourly works on a two-hour minimum — but it is worth telling dispatch which pattern you are in, because the pricing structure and the vehicle staging are different.
What we’re known for in Miami
- MIA arrivals met inside the terminal with a name sign — 60 minutes of complimentary wait time, 90 on international arrivals
- Miami-to-Palm Beach and Palm Beach-to-MIA transfers quoted as one point-to-point flat rate, the bulk of our Miami-Dade work
- Hourly hire available for Miami Beach, Wynwood and the Design District on a two-hour minimum
- Port of Miami cruise transfers coordinated to sailing and disembarkation times rather than a fixed pickup hour
